Brilliant lotus flowers in early summer

From time immemorial, the lotus flower has been attached to the people of Hue. Lotus lakes and ponds can be found everywhere in Hue, and Hue Royal Palace is not an exception. Visitors can enjoy the light fragrance and pure beauty of these flowers of the royal place.

Besides Tinh Tam Lotus Lake, a famous beautiful relic in Hue Citadel, lotus is also grown in the moats in Hue City and ponds all over the periphery of the city.

When summer comes, lotus flowers bloom in the swamps, embellishing the poetic ancient capital. Lotus flowers are in their full bloom in May and throughout June.
