Cooperation to improve quality of treatment and healthcare for people

To meet the demand for updating knowledge and enhancing professional capacity for medical staff, Hue Central Hospital recently launched a series of large-scale and continuous training courses in March 2026, attracting a significant number of trainees from various healthcare facilities across the country.

On the morning of March 25, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had held a discharge ceremony for a pediatric patient with thalassemia (a hereditary blood disorder) following a successful bone marrow transplant using marrow donated by the patient’s older sister. This is the 15th thalassemia bone marrow transplant performed at the hospital, marking an important step forward in the treatment of genetic hematologic diseases.

This notable figure was announced at the 2025 Voluntary Blood Donation Review Conference held on the morning of March 11th by the city’s Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization Steering Committee in coordination with Hue Red Cross Society.

On the morning of February 27, Hue Central Hospital held a ceremony marking the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2026).

The humanitarian “zero-cost surgery” programs at hospitals have supported many children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
