60 Hue students leaving for North to assist local communities on the afternoon of September 9

Sharing the difficulties and damages caused by Typhoon No.3 in the northern provinces, on the morning of September 10, less than 1 hour after the call for help, 50 members of a group of entrepreneurs from Hue enthusiastically joined in. Everyone was ready, each contributing in their way with the hope of doing something for people in the North.

On the afternoon of September 10, the group had an urgent meeting to develop action plans. It was expected to organize activities such as collecting clothes, food, and money to save, aid, and support local communities after the flood.

Mr. Tien Thuan, owner of Dat Anh Hotel (on Dao Trinh Nhat St., Hue City) posted a status spreading the message: To support the relief team heading to the North when passing through Hue, Dat Anh Hotel was ready to provide free accommodation for these teams during their journeys. Mr. Tien Thuan was also calling for other hotels to join this effort.

Similarly, the owner of Tram Homestay (Mai Khac Don street) also posted a status offering free accommodation for the relief team during their journeys.

Previously, the force of PUN 75 headed to the North to support local people there. On the morning of September 9, 15 members rich in experience of Hue Green Park Center also moved to Hanoi to join hands in the work of saving fallen green trees caused by Typhoon Yagi. On the afternoon of the same day, 60 Hue students boarded a train to help people in “the city of red phoenix flowers” recover from the aftermath caused by Typhoon Yagi.

These prompt and immediate actions to help localities suffering difficulties in the storm-affected areas are truly commendable and filled with humanity. It’s believed that these such actions will continue to take place in the near future.
