The final night featured 23 performances across categories, including male and female solo singing, duets, trios, dance, and modern dance. These were the top entries selected from the preliminary rounds held on December 13-14.

HUEdu Singer is an annual cultural-arts activity hosted by the University of Education, Hue University, aiming to provide a meaningful platform for students and to identify musical talents for cultural activities. The contest also helps students develop professional teaching skills, creativity, and a strong sense of community in the school.

The contest this year was organized in a well-structured and professional manner by the University of Education, Hue University, from overall coordination to investment in sound, lighting, and live band support… Unlike the preliminary rounds, the finalists performed live with a band instead of using backing tracks, posing a demanding challenge that required strong vocal skills, solid technique, and stage confidence.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh, MA., a vocal music lecturer at Hue College and a member of the judging panel, highly praised the quality of this year’s contestants. He noted that the students demonstrated thorough professional preparation and greater artistic investment, with powerful voices and strong vocal technique, creating a vibrant final night filled with genuine passion for music.

Boarding houses fall silent as most students head home by the 24th or 25th day of the lunar December; those who remain are mainly from distant hometowns, working part-time, or hoping to experience Tet in a new place.
