Nearly 1,500 students nationwide register to participate in Hue-ICT Challenge 2025

The programming competition for high school students, and innovative information technology products competition for college and university students (Hue-ICT Challenge), is organized annually by Hue Information technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Association (HueDITA) and University of Sciences, Hue University, under the direction of Hue City People's Committee. Since 2024, the Hue-ICT Challenge contest has received professional sponsorship from Vietnam Association for Information Processing (VAIP) to raise the quality of the contest at national level.

This year, the Organizing Committee has established a professional advisory board during the process of developing the exam questions to ensure the quality of the contest; at the same time, the values of the prizes in the innovative information technology products competition for students from colleges and universities have been increased.

As of February 12, 2025, nearly 1,500 students from 344 secondary and high schools in 51 provinces and cities across the country have registered to participate in the Hue-ICT Challenge 2025 contest; among them, 360 contestants registered for the PRO Challenge, 710 contestants for the NAÏ Challenge, and 420 contestants for the JUNIOR Challenge.

The final round of the programming competition for high school students will take place on March 23, 2025, at the University of Sciences, Hue University. The final round of the innovative information technology products for college and university students is expected to be held on June 21, 2025.

Over three years of organization, the Hue-ICT Challenge contest has become a challenging playground for students passionate about information technology across the country, a launching pad for the students with job opportunities; helping them to mature, be brave and more confident in pursuing their passions.
