The press conference informed the central and local press agencies about the results achieved in 2018 and the province's socio-economic development plans in 2019; the activities to celebrate the Party, and the spring, and take care of the people’s Tet. Accordingly, the province had more than 100,000 beneficiaries to receive Tet gifts and Tet supports from the Central, and the province, with a total budget of over VND 26 billion, etc.

In response to the press agencies' opinions, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho analyzed, answered, and further clarified some related issues cared about by the press, such as: the relocation of households in the area of the Citadel; speaking regulations; the planning of Con Hen; the planning of the night market; the walking street; the completion of Chan May - Lang Co economic zone’s infrastructure; the solutions to attract investment; and the e-government, etc.
"From 2019 onwards, in addition to holding regular press conferences, the Provincial People's Committee will hold weekly press conferences from 16:00 to 17:00 every Friday," said Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Ngoc Tho.
