Hundreds of gifts supporting the poor and people in difficulties to welcome Tet

HNN.VN - On January 11, Kind Heart Foundation (Vingroup) has coordinated with Green Lotus Foundation (Thua Thien Hue Newspaper) to present Tet gifts to the poor and difficult households in mountainous communes of Phong Dien District.

Specifically, the delegation has given 150 gifts, each worth VND 600 thousand in cash to the locals of three communes, including: Phong Son, Phong Xuan, and Phong My.

Representatives of the two foundations shared that even though each gift was not big, it was the heart and efforts of the two units in supporting the people in difficulties a more fuller and warmer Nham Dan Lunar New Year.

Holding the cash in her hands, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xoa from Phong Xuan Commune emotionally shared that her husband and herself were over 90 years old then, and they had to rely on each other. With that money, she will buy rice and other items to offer to ancestors during the upcoming Tet holiday.

On January 12, the Kind Heart Foundation and the Green Lotus Foundation are going to present gifts to the poor and people in difficulties in the districts of Nam Dong and Phu Loc. The total number of gifts, which are given on this occasion, is 500, with the amount of VND 300 million.
