HNN.VN - On January 20, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh visited and presented 100 Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households and Agent Orange/Dioxin victims’ families in A Luoi district, worth VND one million per gift.

The Standing Deputy Prime Minister asked leaders of the province and A Luoi district to continue taking care of ethnic minority people, people infected with toxic chemicals, revolutionary contributors, and policy beneficiary families; and well implementing sustainable poverty reduction in the locality, especially when Tet and Spring come; at the same time, to implement policies on ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in the province by various measures; and pay more attention to children who are victims of chemical toxins, and studious ethnic minority students overcoming difficulties, etc.

*On the same day, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu checked, visited and presented gifts to the Party committee, authority and people of A Luoi district; revolutionary contributors, policy beneficiary families, typical poor households, cadres and soldiers in border guard station of A Dot border gate.

When visiting Hero of the People's Armed Forces Ho Vai, policy beneficiary families, revolutionary contributors, and poor households in the communes of A Ngo, and Son Thuy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu attentively inquired after their health and life, he also shared the difficulties, and hardships of ethnic minority households, etc.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted that leaders of A Luoi district should concretize the guidelines on taking care of the people’s life in accordance with the actual situation of the locality, ensuring that everyone had a warming Tet; at the same time, organize art and cultural exchange activities with people in the villages bordering on the Laos border so as to enhance the friendship and solidarity.

Talking to cadres and soldiers in border guard station of A Dot border gate, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu encouraged and shared the difficulties, hardships and sacrifices of the border guards doing missions on the border all days and nights. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee asked the unit to promptly advise the local leaders to have properly guidelines and measures, and timely solve related issues on both sides of the border, contributing to the construction of a peace, friendship and developed border, etc.
