Exciting Hue University’s 2025 chess and Chinese chess Tournament for students
HNN.VN - After a day of lively and intense competition, the 2025 Hue University (HU) Open Chess and Chinese Chess Tournament for students, organized by Hue University Student Association, ended on the afternoon of May 18th.

Participants in the tournament included students currently studying at member universities, faculties, and campuses under Hue University (HU), as well as high school students from Thuan Hoa High School (of the University of Education, Hue University) and the High School for Gifted Students in Science (of the University of Sciences, Hue University).
At the end of the tournament, the overall first prize went to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University. The second prize was awarded to the University of Education, HU, and the University of Law, HU, received the third prize.
Hue University Student Association President Le Chi Hung Cuong emphasized that the 2025 HU Open Chess and Chinese Chess Tournament aimed to provide a healthy, practical, and beneficial playground to discover and nurture student and pupil talent in chess and Chinese chess. The event also helped strengthen solidarity and foster interaction among students from different universities, faculties, and affiliates within Hue University.
