Establishment of Hue Central Hospital Ophthalmology Center
HNN.VN - On the afternoon of June 21, Hue Central Hospital organized a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the Ophthalmology Center. This is the 9th center of Hue Central Hospital.

Established nearly 100 years ago, the Ophthalmology Department of Hue Central Hospital has been constantly growing in human resources, in coordinating with domestic and foreign organizations, and in medical examination, treatment and surgery to bring light to hundreds of thousands of patients from Thua Thien Hue and other provinces in the country.
In 2010, with the support of the East Meets West Organization (United States), the Ophthalmology Department had a new facility at the Training Center with modern equipment and infrastructure, leading the nation in the specialized field of ophthalmology. On that foundation, the leaders of Hue Central Hospital set a plan to develop the Ophthalmology Department into an Ophthalmology Center.
On this occasion, Hue Central Hospital Ophthalmology Center organized a specialized scientific conference with the participation of nearly 300 professors, PhDs, and doctors in ophthalmology from Vietnam and abroad in order to exchange and share professional experience through their research.
