As part of the project “Enhancing Capacity for Employment among the Visually Impaired”, jointly implemented by Hue City Association of the Blind and Sao Mai Center for the Blind, the program equips participants with three essential skill sets: communication, negotiation, and presentation.

These foundational skills were expected to help visually impaired participants gain confidence in their studies, broaden access to knowledge, and enhance adaptability in the workplace. The training sessions were delivered directly by lecturers from the University of Education, Hue University.

Alongside instruction on organizing presentation content and improving delivery, participants took part in hands-on exercises to navigate communication situations and practice effective negotiation strategies in real-life settings.

Following the first session in this skills enhancement series for the visually impaired, the program will continue with upcoming specialized sessions on job searching, startups, and post-training career orientation. These efforts aim to expand opportunities for integration and support the sustainable development of members.
