Announcement of recognition of the Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, 2025 - 2030 term
HNN.VN - On September 9th, Hue University (HU) held a ceremony to announce the Resolution of the HU Council recognizing the Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HU, for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Earlier, on September 5th, the HU Council issued Resolution No. 54/NQ-HĐĐH on the recognition of the Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HU, for the 2025 - 2030 term. Accordingly, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, who has been serving as Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HU, for the 2020 - 2025 term, will continue holding the role for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Dang Hoa, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee and Chairman of the HU Council, who presented the Resolution recognizing the Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HU, for the 2025 - 2030 term, emphasized that this is an event of great significance, continuing the nearly 70 year tradition of construction and development of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HU. He also hoped that Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy will continue to build on the achievements gained and lead the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HU, to further growth, making positive contributions to the overall development of Hue University.
In his remarks upon assuming the new term, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HU, stated that the action plan for the 2025 - 2030 rectorship will include five major projects and programs, covering five key areas of the university. These are: the “Developing the university and its hospital under the University - Hospital model” project; the “Completing organizational structure and developing human resources for the university, its hospital, and the family doctor clinic” program; the “Advancing professional activities, enhancing the quality of training and public healthcare services” program; the “Promoting science and technology, fostering innovation - entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and international cooperation” program; and the “Developing financial resources and infrastructure for the university, its hospital, and the family doctor clinic” program.
