2018 Hue Unicorn Dance Festival to be launched

HNN.VN - In responding to the jubilant atmosphere of the "Mid-Autumn Festival", from September 19 to 20 (from the 10th to 11th days of the Eight lunar month), Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism will organize the first Hue Unicorn Dance Festival.

The festival aims to affirm the title of Hue - the Festival City of Vietnam; step by step build Hue's image - the festival capital, diversify activities for visitors; and introduce featured festivals, as well as creative forms of experiencing Hue culture to visitors.

The festival has a two-round unicorn dance contest, including a round of “Nhat dia buu”, in which the participating teams compete for the first, second and third places in this category; and a round of “Mai Hoa Thung”, in which the teams continue to compete for the first, second and third places in this category. In addition, within the framework of the 2018 Hue Unicorn Dance Festival, there will be other activities, such as performances of artists in the area, and collective Unicorn - Lion - Dragon dance performances, etc.
