A lot of monks, Buddhist followers, leaders of organizations, experts, and researchers attended the event.
The Digital Archive and Exhibition Room showcase digitized materials, including audio files restored into complete sound recordings using modern technology. These recordings were donated by the family of the late lay devotee Tam Dai Le Van Dung and were digitized by monks, nuns, and collaborators at the Center for Archiving and Research (Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue), and refined over a long period.
The recordings were most recently digitized in 2023 at Tu Dam Pagoda under the direction of Most Venerable Thich Hai An, Rector of the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue. They were then curated into 95 excerpts for exhibition. Their content covers topics such as chanting rituals, Buddhist scriptures, and historical events related to Buddhism in Hue.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue, in collaboration with the Embassy of India in Vietnam, also launched an Indo-Vietnamese Buddhist art exhibition.
The exhibition features 10 Buddha statues of various materials and sizes representing the Gandhara, Mathura, and Indian Tantric schools of sculpture, dating from the II to the XI centuries, along with nearly 20 archival images illustrating Buddhist sculpture art across Indian and Vietnamese traditions.
