The Imperial Citadel shines, the royal flowers converge

HNN.VN - From April 26 to May 2nd, the Imperial Citadel will become the center of a series of special cultural - artistic activities with the theme “The Imperial Citadel shines, the royal flowers converge”, promising to attract thousands of tourist arrivals during the April 30 - May 1st holidays.

Hundreds of bonsai artworks and ornamental stones will gather at Co Ha garden 

The event’s highlight is the exhibition of bonsais, orchids and ornamental stones from the three regions, which takes place at the two “imperial gardens” in the Imperial Citadel, including Thieu Phuong garden and Co Ha garden. In this exhibition, hundreds of bonsais, ornamental stones, and rare and valuable orchids from the North, Central, and South regions will gather to display their beauty in the ancient imperial space of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Furthermore, tourists also get the chance to immerse themselves in various traditional cultural experiences, such as enjoying artistic tea at Thieu Phuong garden, enjoying cuisine, and performance of Hue traditional crafts at Royal Treasury Palace, or discovering the poetic beauty of the Imperial Citadel at night.

Especially, from 18:00 to 21:30 every night, from April 26 to May 1st, Thieu Phuong garden, Co Ha garden, and Royal Treasury Palace will be completely opened free for tourists, including both local and international visitors. This is a rare opportunity for locals and tourists to discover the Imperial Citadel at night.

According to Hue Monuments Conservation Center, from April 26, a firework display and cannon firing will be held every Saturday night at Hue Flag Tower, reenacting and reviving a part of the ancient capital’s memories.

Tourists will be guided to enter Hue Imperial Citadel from Hien Nhon Gate, with their motorbikes to be parked on Doan Thi Diem street and cars at Eo Bau Nam Xuong parking lot.
