The 6th Ancient Capital’s Literature and Arts Award

HNN.VN - On September 4th, the authors of 56 outstanding works of literature and art were honored in the awarding ceremony of the 6th Ancient Capital’s Literature and Arts Award (from 2013 to 2018).

56 works of 56 authors were awarded the 6th Ancient Capital’s Literature and Arts Award of Thua Thien Hue Province, including 8 A prizes, 19 B prizes and 29 C prizes. Among them, there were 2 architectural works, 4 dancing works, 7 artworks, 9 photographic works, 5 theater works, 9 musical works, 4 folk artworks, and 16 literary works.

These were excellent works selected from 158 ones submitted to the award. At the awards ceremony, Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the 6th Ancient Capital’s Literature and Arts Award was the most prestigious award for the best literary and artistic works of the most distinguished artists on all the fields.

The authors whose works were awarded this time, with their special creativity and persistent efforts, had created valuable works of ideological content and artistic form, deeply influencing social life, making an important contribution to the development of the literature and art of the province and the country.

The 75 pieces showcased in this exhibition belong to an art collection that the Museum has patiently and devotedly gathered over many years.
