Honoring Thua Thien Hue artists
HNN.VN - On January 10, Union of Arts and Literature Associations organized a program to honor the artists and award excellent art and literature works in 2017.

In 2017, artists of Thua Thien Hue achieved remarkable results. Many collectives and members have made outstanding works, recognized at international, national, regional and provincial competitions, such as: the VN-2017 international bronze medal of photographer Truong Vung, FIAP gold medal in Turkey of photographer Ngo Thanh Minh, and the second prize in APEC 2017 photo contest of photographer Vinh Huong, etc.
Speaking at the honoring ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung highly appreciated the tireless efforts and contributions of the artists to the promotion of Hue culture in the recent time. At the same time, he expresses his desire for artists with their enthusiasm and passion for the profession to continue contributing their talents and wisdom to Hue culture.

On this occasion, Union of Arts and Literature Associations honored 17 artists winning national and international awards of the Photography Association, Association of Folklorists, Association of Dance Artists and the Architectural Association. At the same time, 14 excellent works were awarded.
