Hue Lotus Festival to take place from June 4 to 5
HNN.VN - According to the Provincial Department of Tourism, Hue Lotus Festival 2022, with the theme of "The quintessence of heaven and earth", will take place at the Tu Tuong Park from June 4 to 5. This is an activity in response to the Summer Festival in the framework of Hue Festival 2022.
The festival will introduce lotus cuisine, and lotus-marinated tea
The festival aims to stimulate domestic tourism, promote the recovery of Thua Thien Hue tourism in the new normal state; as well as affirming the trademark of Hue - the typical festival city of Vietnam; introducing unique traditional festivals, along with new forms of travel experiences, and bringing the creativity to visitors and the local community.
Hue Lotus Festival 2022 will create a real scene of lotus flowers, bringing a view of "truth, goodness, beauty" to a highly symbolic flower via products which are made of lotus.
The main activities of the festival include: the opening ceremony, which will be held on the evening of June 4, and combined with a performance of the "Lotus" ao dai collections; the introduction of lotus cuisine including a numerous of savory and vegetarian dishes using lotus ingredients, as well as lotus tea, lotus seed sweet soup, lotus jam, etc., and an exhibition of art products about the lotus.
Hue Lotus Festival 2022, "The quintessence of heaven and earth", is expected to gradually become an annual event in the Ancient Capital of Hue; which will contribute to the promotion and development of tourism.
