| The Hue Festival Organizing Committee signs a sponsorship agreement with BIDV |
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee and Head of the Hue Festival 2025 Organizing Committee, along with representatives from BIDV’s Hue branch and relevant departments, witnessed the signing of a sponsorship agreement worth 1 billion VND from BIDV for the Final Round of the Miss Vietnam 2024 pageant, which will take place in Hue in 2025.
This sponsorship is part of a co-advertising collaboration program between BIDV and Hue Festival 2025 Organizing Committee. Hue Festival 2025 is a key event associated with the 2025 National Tourism Year, with the theme “Hue – Ancient Capital, New Opportunity.”
The Final Round of Miss Vietnam 2024, to be held in Hue in 2025, promises to be a special highlight among nearly 160 events held throughout the year, contributing to the celebration of Vietnamese women’s beauty intertwined with cultural identity and a modern spirit.
A BIDV representative shared that partnering with Hue Festival 2025 and the Final Round of Miss Vietnam 2024 is an opportunity for the bank to help promote the image of Vietnamese culture and people to the international community. BIDV also hopes to support Hue in developing tourism, building a destination brand, and attracting investment through nationally and regionally significant events.
“More than just a cultural-artistic event, the beauty pageant is a convergence of the essence and modern beauty of Vietnamese women, rooted in the cultural depth of the ancient capital. BIDV’s involvement in these important events reflects its social responsibility and long-term commitment to supporting the sustainable development of the country’s cultural and tourism sectors,” the BIDV representative affirmed.

Hue Festival 2025 will follow the “Four Seasons Festival” model, running year-round from the opening program reenacting the Lunar New Year’s Thiet trieu court ceremony to the Countdown Night welcoming 2026. The year 2025 also marks the first time Hue has been chosen as the host location for the National Tourism Year – Vietnam’s largest tourism event.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh expressed appreciation for BIDV’s decision to support the city in this symbolic event. According to Mr. Binh, activities such as the Miss Vietnam Final Round not only enhance the identity of Hue Festival but also help spread cultural images and elevate Hue’s position on the regional tourism map.

“Hue Festival aims to become a year-round event, fully leveraging our strengths in heritage, scenic spots, and distinct culture, to make Hue truly Vietnam’s signature Festival City.
