Hue Bookcase aims at forming unique cultural products of Hue, promoting Hue culture through books, developing reading culture, introducing precious books, forming a set of gifts with cultural meanings of the land of the ancient capital, while at the same time building a scientific database for research into all fields of Thua Thien Hue, serving the turning of Thua Thien Hue into a cultural and heritage city directly under the Central Government.
Hue Bookcase will re-publish old publications and order new valuable and quality publications related to Thua Thien Hue in all fields. Reprinted or newly published books must be Hue-related works with high cultural connotation, inheriting and proposing initiatives, experiences, good ideas and solutions for socio-economic development in Thua Thien Hue.

Thua Thien Hue Chorography are compiled in the form of integrated chorography, including 5 components: nature, history, population - administration, economy and culture.
Thua Thien Hue Cultural Chorography – a massive and large-scale scientific work – is published in early 2021, consisting of 2 volumes, each of which is more than a thousand pages thick. The work clarifies the cultural, material and spiritual factors of the inhabitants of the land, including cuisine, costumes, traditional medicine, customs, education, literature, performing arts and so on.
After the announcement ceremony, there was a seminar on "Development Orientation of Hue Bookcase and Introduction of Hue Cultural Chorography".
