| Hue city leader presenting a certificate of recognition to MONO |
The event was not only a celebration of contemporary music but also created a meaningful space connecting younger generations with the heritage values of the Ancient Capital. Attending the event were Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of Hue City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, along with leaders of various departments and agencies and a large audience of fans.
“Cong Tu Van Tho” has made a strong impression by choosing Ngo Mon Gate as its filming location. The gate, which serves as the main entrance to the Imperial City, is one of the most iconic and dignified examples of Nguyen Dynasty court architecture.
Throughout the music video, familiar elements of Vietnamese culture, including embroidered ao-dai and traditional musical instruments such as the moon lute and the ty ba lute, are seamlessly blended with modern Pop and R&B musical elements. Through MONO’s artistic lens, history is presented not as something distant but as something vibrant and accessible, allowing younger audiences to appreciate the beauty of traditional culture within contemporary life.
In recognition of the singer’s positive contributions to promoting Hue’s cultural heritage, Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang formally invited MONO during the event to become Hue’s “Heritage Promotion Ambassador”. The invitation represents a significant honor for the young artist and highlights the important role of younger generations in preserving and promoting cultural heritage values.
