Mr. Huynh Ho Dai Nghia with the sharing “Hue 2045 - Shaping the Future from Heritage and Knowledge”

The program “Preserving Heritage - Continuation and Development” is a platform for individuals who love Hue and care about the city to share and participate in the dialogue about preserving and promoting its heritage values, with a vision toward sustainable development. It is also a place for exchange, where fresh perspectives meet and harmonize with traditional values. From there, it sparks inspiration for the younger generation to continue protecting heritage and carrying it forward in their own way.

In the framework of the program, the speakers presented and shared various topics, including: Hue’s choice of its own path toward sustainable development (Dr. Phan Thanh Hai); Hue 2045: Shaping the future through heritage and knowledge (Huynh Ho Dai Nghia, M.A.); Preserving and developing Hue urban heritage landscape complex - another perspective (Architect Nguyen Thanh Tung); Applying technology and community involvement in the preservation of digital heritage in Hue (Le Quang Tue). Participants, including guests and young attendees, also participated in discussions to explore initiatives that could help the younger generation preserve and promote the existing values of Hue Ancient Capital.

TROY - The Roundtable Discussion of Youth is a project founded by a group of young people who met at the Vietnam School of Development 2022 (VSOD). Together, they organize workshops, sharing talks, and roundtable discussions on economic, cultural, and social issues from a multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral perspective to foster sustainable development.
