The Seminar takes place from August 28 to 30, with the theme “The Application of Bioprotection in Agriculture for Climate Adaptation”. This event is a part of a series celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University. The seminar serves as a platform to exchange knowledge, research results, and practical experiences in global bioprotection. At the same time, it is a great opportunity for researchers to share their findings and applications in biological pest control, as well as the achievements in sustainable agricultural production, adapting to climate change.

The seminar has the attention and participation of various delegates and researchers from the College of Agriculture, Can Tho University, the University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ho Chi Minh City, the Academy of Agriculture, Tay Nguyen University, and the Institute of Plant Protection.

In the framework of the seminar, the delegates and researchers will discuss and share on various topics, including environmentally friendly plant protection solutions; biotechnology in plant protection; soil health; development of pest-resistant crop varieties that adapt to climate change; advanced techniques in pest detection, monitoring, and management; integrated plant health management, and biological products in agriculture.

A total of 36 topics has been registered for direct presentation at the seminar. After the presentation sessions, the delegates will survey agricultural areas for field observations, followed by a general discussion to build networks and connections among stakeholders, and guide the development of agricultural protection in the coming time.
