On the afternoon of September 9, in Hue City, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with the Department of Environment of Shizuoka City (Japan), held a technical workshop to promote carbon neutrality in Hue City in 2026.

From August 10 to 12, a team of staff from the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University) collaborated with a team of doctors from Hue Central Hospital to successfully carry out a series of trials of an automated surgical robotic arm system on an animal model (pigs).

These days, demand for skilled workers working in the field of agriculture and forestry is growing significantly, both domestically and internationally. This trend is opening up high-pay career opportunities for agriculture and forestry students right after graduation, or even before they graduate from university.

On the afternoon of May 19th, the Sub-Department of Irrigation and Climate Change, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hue City, organized a seminar themed “Community Joins Hands in Natural Disaster Prevention and Control”.

On May 15, the Sub-department of Irrigation and Climate Change under the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in Vietnam, launched the project “Strengthening climate change resilience and adaptation capacity of urban areas in Central Vietnam”. The project is funded by the CRS (the USA).

This was the theme of a workshop jointly organized on May 7-8 by the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, in collaboration with Viet Nature Conservation Centre, Hue Forest Owners Sustainable Development Association (HUE-FOSDA), Hue City Forest Protection Department, and Phong Dien Nature Reserve Management Board.

On May 6, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, held a meeting and working session with the Hearts for Hue Foundation (H4HF) and a delegation of students from the National University of Singapore. ​

On the morning of April 20, Hue City Institute for Development Studies, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hue City, organized a training workshop titled: “Applying Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Standards in Production and Business Operations: Sustainable Solutions to Expand Markets and Supply Chains”.
