Thua Thien Hue signs a memorandum on cooperation with Laos’ Salavan Province
HNN.VN - On June 26, Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police and Salavan Provincial Security Department (Laos) jointly signed a memorandum of cooperation on order and security.
At the signing ceremony, representatives of leaders of Salavan Provincial Security Department and the Provincal Police Department of Thua Thien Hue jointly announced and exchanged information related to the economic, cultural, social and security situations that developed in two provinces in the first 6 months of 2018.

Thereby, the two sides also predicted the security and order situations in time to come in the two localities. After discussing and came to an agreement, representatives of the police leaders of the two provinces signed a memorandum of cooperation on security and order.
Specifically, the two sides are to continue carrying out coordinately the task of catching on to the situation and facilitating exchanges of information between the professional sections of the police forces of the two provinces as well as between police units of the communes and districts located along the common border of the two provinces; maintaining shift- passing meetings for alternate briefings to exchange information on the situation as well as experience in crime fighting and prevention, especially in the battle against drug crimes and human trafficking, ... all as a contribution to safeguard border and domestic security.
