This is one of the highlight events of the Winter Festival, and is also an opportunity for artists from the both countries to have the opportunity to exchange culture and art, as well as introducing their typical fine art works to the public.

The "Accompany", as the name suggests, is the exchange and connection of aesthetic messages between Vietnam and South Korea. The exhibition marks the efforts of the South Korean Fine Arts Artists Association and artists from Hue and Hanoi. Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association, South Korean Cultural Resources Institute, and the University of Arts - Hue University are the bridge spans connecting that exchange.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said that cultural connection through the introduction of fine art works was an activity which Hue Monuments Conservation Center in particular and Thua Thien Hue Province in general always paid attention to. Through Hue Festivals, exhibition exchange activities have always received the attention from the domestic and international art community.

Mr. Hong Soonjoo, Vice President of the South Korean Fine Arts Association, said that the exhibition was a good opportunity to compare the differences in the unique aesthetic expression in fine art works by artists from Vietnam and South Korean, as well as the differences in the ways of understanding and the ability to perceive things by each person.

The exhibition has the participation of 38 Vietnamese artists and 32 South Korean artists. Although the material is limited in traditional paper, silk, and fabric; thanks to each individual's own creativity, the fine art works at this exhibition demonstrate the diversity of ways of expression. Each fine art work is truly a sharing and expression of art.

The Vietnam - South Korea art exchange exhibition once again affirms the meaning of cultural dialogue in the new period, opening up many channels of cooperation in the field of art exchange between the two countries.
