This is one of the activities under the framework of the program to promote multi-faced cooperation between Vietnam and Fukuoka province and Kyushu region, organized by the Consulate General of Vietnam in collaboration with the authorities of Fukuoka province, under the sponsor of various government agencies, organizations, and businesses from Fukuoka and Kyusshu region (the 8 southern provinces of Japan).
Accordingly, on July 26, the Kyusshu – Vietnam multi-faced Cooperation Promotion Forum took place at Elgara Convention Center, Fukuoka city.
The forum included topics on the cooperation of human resources, agriculture, IT, and digital transformation. Furthermore, they also had discussions between Japanese businesses and Vietnamese localities in many other fields such as healthcare, environment, high-tech, IT, mechanical engineering, tourism, culture, industrial zones, and people’s friendship.
The delegation of the province also made a courtesy meeting with the Governor of Fukuoka province, as well as having a discussion with the Deputy Mayor of Fukuoka City, together with the representatives of the city’s departments and agencies on July 25, 2022.
At the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh thanked Fukuoka province for their warm and respectful welcome to the delegation. The delegation would continue to have more courtesy meetings and discussions with the leaders of Kyoto, Gifu province and Osaka on the experiences of calling for investment cooperation, planning management, especially the methods of building cycling streets, developing new forms of tourism; as well as discussing on the cooperation of the two sides in the coming time.
