Discussions focused on evaluating the current state of conservation, proposing technical and financial support, and facilitating experience-sharing among member states.

During the working sessions, the delegation listened to reports from consultative bodies and the World Heritage Center, reviewed new nomination files, monitored the review of endangered heritage sites, and updated on the implementation of the 1972 Convention. They also received information regarding UNESCO’s recommendations for world heritage sites in Vietnam. The delegation actively participated in discussions to shape future cooperation with international organizations to support conservation efforts in Hue during the upcoming phase.

Hue’s active participation in WHC 47 reflects its strong commitment to implementing UNESCO’s recommendations while also expanding opportunities for international cooperation in heritage conservation, education, and tourism development, affirming the city’s status on the global map of world heritage cities.
