HNN.VN - After being organized for four days, the culinary festival themed “The Quintessence of Noodle making craft” at Hue Traditional Craft Festival ended on the evening of May 2 at Thuong Bac Park, with a night to honor the culinary values and gratitude to the contributors of the festival.

The culinary festival aims to affirm and honor the quintessential values of Hue’s cuisine in particular, and the country's cuisine in general, especially the craft of noodle making (rice vermicelli).

This year, 54 booths from 9 localities, including: Hanoi, Dien Bien, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Long An, Binh Duong, Soc Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hue, participated in the festival.

The festival’s space was designed and arranged in a compact manner, with improved service quality, creating a spacious and airy space for the visitors to enjoy and experience the services. The booths introduced hundreds of specialty dishes and drinks from every region and locality.

Immediately on the opening night, the festival space attracted a large number of people and visitors to visit and enjoy the cuisine. During the four days and nights being organized, the festival attracted more than 45,000 visitors, who went to the festival to visit, experience, purchase, and enjoy the dishes. The estimated revenue is over VND 5 billion.

At the contest named “Culinary space in Hue garden houses”, the organizing committee awarded prizes to the participating units, including one gold medal, two silver medals, three bronze medals, four fourth prizes, and ten consolation prizes.

On this occasion, the organizing committee appreciated the contributions of the sponsors, artisans, and businesses, etc., who contributed to the success of the culinary festival.
