Accordingly, there will be two round-trip flights operated for diplomatic purposes. They are aimed at connecting and promoting the Thua Thien Hue tourism market in Thailand and vice versa. The first flight will be from Bangkok to Hue carrying the famtrip delegation from Thailand to Thua Thien Hue to visit and survey the tourism products and services in the province. The second flight from Hue to Bangkok will be held to promote Thua Thien Hue tourism to Thailand.

After the two diplomatic flights, if all goes well, there’ll also be charter flights and commercial flight routes connecting Hue with the ancient capitals in the area, such as Ayutthaya (of Thailand), Luang Prabang (of Laos), and Siem Reap (of Cambodia).
