Laguna Golf Lang Co awarded EarthCheck's Gold Certification for 2021
HNN.VN - Laguna Golf Lang Co once again affirms its reputation as one of the most environmentally friendly golf courses in Vietnam after earning the "Gold Certification" for the year 2021 from EarthCheck, a scientific and environmental benchmarking, certification, and advisory group in the field of sustainable tourism.
Laguna Golf Lang Co is one of three golf courses in the world to achieve gold certification 3 years in succession from 2019.
Laguna Golf Lang Co has completely eliminated the use of disposable plastic, such as garbage bags in the common areas, single-use accessories, plastic cups and straws and replaced them with similar items made from bamboo, paper, steel, or grass. Laguna Lang Co also has a packaged drinking water plant of its own, which allows the resort to completely eliminate plastic water bottles and use reusable glass bottles instead.
Other prominent green practices at the resort include an initiative to green the local barren land to increase green coverage ratio and provide a steady source of income for needy families in the underprivileged community around the region.
