The “Hue - Welcome Summer 2024” event includes an art performance program and an announcement of the summer tourism season in Hue; which also gathers 14 booths of Thua Thien Hue tourism businesses, displaying and introducing a variety of attractive tourism products to stimulate tourism demand in the summer of 2024.
Visitors and locals attending the event will have the opportunity to explore tourism packages, combo deals, accommodation services, restaurants, and sightseeing tickets, etc., at preferential prices; participate in exciting entertainment activities such as lucky draw, minigames, as well as cultural and artistic exchanges...; receive souvenirs, attractive vouchers from tourism businesses; and experience various types of cuisine, along with cultural and entertainment activities in the area of Hai Ba Trung pedestrian street.
In 2024, the tourism sector of Thua Thien Hue province is striving to welcome about 3.5 to 4 million visitors, of which domestic visitors account for about 60 to 70 percent, and total tourism revenue reaches around 7,000 to 8,000 billion VND.
The “Hue - Welcome Summer 2024” event is an opportunity for travel agencies and domestic and international visitors to learn, experience, and explore the cultural activities, cuisine, services, and new tourist destinations of Thua Thien Hue. This is also an activity that contributes to promoting the image of Hue tourism to visitors, while also stimulating tourism demand in the summer of 2024 in the province.

The event also contributes to promoting and publicizing the programs of Hue Festival 2024; new tourism products and services, and preferential policies of local businesses to a large number of visitors as well as domestic and foreign travel agencies.
In this year's stimulus program, Thua Thien Hue will focus on resort and wellness products, and MICE products combined with participation in activities, festivals, and sports competitions during Hue Festival, and experience tourism products of cultural heritages, art, countryside, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls; introducing the Hue - Da Nang tourist train route named “Connecting Central Heritage” and accompanying service products, green tourism products/tours, and tours associated with experiencing the traditional ao dai and local cuisine.
