Hue tourism welcomes more than 1,100 MICE tourists

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of April 18, the Department of Tourism, in cooperation with the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, welcomed the MICE tourist group to Hue managed by Vietravel at the yard in front of Ngo Mon gate - Hue Imperial Citadel.

Accordingly, Vietnam Travel and Marketing Transports Joint Stock Company (Vietravel) guide a delegation of more than 1,100 MICE tourists (tourism combines with conferences) from 3 regions of the North - Central - South of Vietnam to visit Hue Ancient Capital and hold a customer conference.

The delegation will stay in Hue to discover and experience products from April 18 to 20. This is the largest MICE tour group to Hue since the outbreak of the pandemic. This activity also aims to contribute to promoting the tourism image, as well as creating a good impression of friendliness and hospitality of Hue's tourism industry in the new normal period; at the same time, setting up a premise to better attract large-scale tourist groups in the form of MICE, Teambulding, Charter and Caravan tourism.

The Department of Tourism has coordinated with the Provincial Police Department to arrange a police force to assist in guiding the transport cars for the delegation from Phu Bai International Airport and from Lang Co town, Phu Loc district to the attractions and accommodations in the center of Hue city.
