Through the 5 days of national holiday for Hung Kings’Commemoration Day, April 30th and May 1st, Thua Thien Hue's tourism industry welcomed 100,000 turns of tourists, an increase of 80% compared to last year's holiday.

Specifically, from April 29th to May 3rd, Thua Thien Hue tourism welcomed 99,000 visitor arrivals, an increase of 80% compared to 2022, in which there were about 36.3 thousand international visitors, an increase of 26 times. Guest stay is estimated at 54.4 thousand people, an increase of 70%.

Room occupancy is 85%. Particularly in 3 days - April 29th, 30th, and May 1st, the room capacity of the hotels in the city reached 100%. Revenue in this 5-day holiday is estimated at 153 billion VND, an increase of 80% compared to 2022.

Statistics show that the number of visitors buying tickets to visit relic sites in the city during the holiday is estimated at about 82,000. Particularly on May 1st, the relic sites welcomed a record number of visitors - 24.3 thousand people. Ticket sales in the day reached more than 3.5 billion VND. This is the largest number of visitors to the relic sites that have ever been recorded. This figure is even higher than before the pandemic.
