From July 16 to 21, a delegation from Hue City, led by Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang, attended the 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC48) in Busan, South Korea. During the visit, the delegation also organized a series of large-scale cultural and tourism promotion events in Seoul and Busan.

For the first time, when sailboats appeared on the waters of Lang Co Bay, they brought a fresh new image to Hue’s coastal tourism. On July 6, the Youth Union and Student Association of the University of Education, Hue University, held a send-off ceremony for the 2026 Green Summer Student Volunteer Campaign, with the participation of 62 student volunteers.

On the evening of June 22, Hue Tourism Association, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, the National Tourism Agency of Belarus, and the Belarusian Tourism Industry Association, held an online seminar to connect and promote tourism connections between Hue City and Belarusian localities.
