‘Applied Fine Arts and Heritage: From Traditional Values to Contemporary Designs’ was the theme of an international scientific conference held on the morning of October 29 at the University of Arts, Hue University. The University of Arts and Udon Thani Rajabhat University of Thailand jointly organized this conference.

Inspired by a love for traditional culture, young designers in Hue are finding ways to bring heritage values into clothing through their own creative languages.

The 10th Hue City Sports Festival 2026 officially opened as the traditional torch lit at Ho Chi Minh Museum, then arrived at the sports arena in the City’s Cultural and Sports Square. After leaving A Luoi to study and work in Hanoi's music environment, A King Luu, 25 years old, has brought with him memories of the mountains and forests, the language, traditional clothing and stories of the Ta Oi people and woven them into his music.

From unicorn heads made for performances, Hue artisans have created smaller versions to meet the demand for decoration and souvenirs.

The cooking class is included as part of Huetourist’s all-inclusive tour package. A local instructor takes the lead in demonstrating the process and helps visitors practice each step themselves. The selected dishes reflect the daily culinary traditions of Hue locals.
