On the morning of June 5th, at Duyet Thi Duong Theater in Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized an experimental performance program titled “Practicing Huế music notation and the interpretation method,” drawing the attention of researchers, artisans, and lovers of traditional music.

Traditional culture is no longer unfamiliar to young people as the student group “Gen Z Ke Su” (Gen Z Tells History) from the Communication Technology major at FPT University Da Nang launched a media project titled “Co Vat Cung Dinh” (Royal Antiquities). The project uses modern technology applications to tell traditional stories.

On April 26, the People’s Committee of Huong An Ward hosted a program titled “Huong An Rural Market” in 2026 under the theme “Mi xu mi som” (First sale of the day). On the morning of April 24th, the city’s Women’s Union, in coordination with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (Federal Republic of Germany), organized a workshop titled “Integrating Gender Equality into Commune Level Socio-Economic Development Planning”.

Hue chess has long been renowned for its famous female players, such as Nguyen Thi Thuan Hoa, Hoang Thi Bao Tram, Hoang Thi Nhu Y, and Vo Thi Kim Phung, etc. After these outstanding players retired or moved to compete for other localities, Hue chess recently received good news at the beginning of 2026 as 18-year-old Nguyen Ha Khanh Linh was awarded the title of FIDE Master by the World Chess Federation.

40 artists, including lecturers and students from the University of Arts, the University of Sciences (Hue University), along with other painters and architects, participated in a creative program titled Sketching French Architectural Heritage and Cultural-Historical Relics in Hue.
