More than 3 years after the passing of folk artisan Cong Ton Nu Tri Hue, the one who kept the secret techniques of making royal armrest pillows of the Nguyen Dynasty, also known as the “trai dua” (armrest pillow-blocks), an exhibition dedicated to her titled “Wholeheartedly, with devotion” has been organized by young people.

On the afternoon of May 12th, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan chaired a working session on the progress and results of developing a project on special mechanisms and policies aimed at creating breakthrough development for Hue City.

On the morning of May 8th, the Office of the City People’s Committee announced that in Kandy, Central Province of Sri Lanka, a high-level delegation from Hue City led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with leaders of the Central Province administration to discuss and promote cooperation opportunities in the coming period.

On the evening of May 1st, the People’s Committee of Hue City announced that, on the same day, the city’s heritage site system recorded the highest-ever number of visitors and ticket revenue in a single day. On the morning of April 28th, Hue Central Hospital held a ceremony to introduce the 3.0 Tesla MRI system - SIGNA Pioneer. On the afternoon of April 23, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, along with representatives from relevant departments and sectors, received and held a working session with a delegation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, led by Mr. Alexander Dmitrievich Sidoruk, Consul General.

On April 23, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Manh paid a visit and held a working meeting with some local businesses regarding the dispatch of workers to overseas employment under contract. Attending the delegation were representatives of relevant departments and sectors.
