During the 2026 - 2030 period, the city will prioritize allocating public investment capital to complete a synchronized, modern strategic infrastructure system.

On the afternoon of April 2nd, at the regular March meeting, Central Party Committee member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan emphasized that every policy decision must lay the foundation for long-term development. Hue City People's Council has agreed to add the construction project for a pedestrian and bicycle bridge over An Cuu River (a Y-shaped bridge) to the overall adjusted medium-term public investment plan for 2021-2025.
