On June 22nd, Hue Central Hospital announced that patient P.M.D. (41 years old, residing in My Thuong Ward, Hue City), who received a heart transplant from a deceased brain-dead donor, had made a good recovery and was discharged from the hospital. This was the 23rd successful heart transplant performed at the hospital and the last of six recipients who received organs and tissues from the same brain-dead donor to be discharged.

Hue Central Hospital has successfully performed six organ transplants from a brain-dead donor, bringing life-saving and restorative opportunities to six critically ill patients. This achievement not only affirms the high level of expertise of the hospital’s medical team but also profoundly spreads the humanitarian value of organ and tissue donation within the community.

On the morning of September 13, Hue City Center for Culture, Information and Sports, in collaboration with various units and donors, organized an event to give Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to 200 students in difficult circumstances in Hue City.
