More than simply a meeting place for buyers and sellers, Hue Agricultural Products Fair 2026 brings the flavors, produce and stories of rural communities closer to local residents and visitors.

On the morning of September 1, the 2026 Khe Tre Highland Market (third edition) under the theme ‘Spirit of Great Forest - Colors of Independence’ officially kicked off at the Co Tu Ethnic Traditional Cultural Village in Thuong Lo Village, Khe Tre Commune. The event offers visitors a space to experience the unique culture, cuisine, and specialties of the highlands during the National Day holiday (September 2).

Organized by Hue City People's Committee on the afternoon of August 14 under the theme ‘Converging Excellence - Spreading Hue's Identity’, the event was attended by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of Hue City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee.

On June 27, at the Ethnic Cultural House of Khe Tre Commune (208 Khe Tre Street), the People's Committee of Khe Tre Commune organized the Khe Tre Highland Market - Second session of 2026, themed “Agricultural Products Market”. The event aims to showcase local products, promote the consumption of agricultural products, and introduce the highland cultural identity to people and visitors.

On the evening of June 26, the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Thuy Ward held a ceremony to kick off the “Countryside Market Festival” in response to Hue Festival 2026.

“Instead of just harvesting the fruits to sell at the market, now I also ‘sell’ the shade beneath the trees, the hands-on experience of bending branches to pluck the fruits, and the human life stories deeply intertwined with the lifespan of the trees”..., shared old farmer Le Thong, the owner of an orchard with over 200 trees in Thuan Loc Village, Binh Dien Commune.

Workshops such as pottery making, picture coloring, and “healing”-themed cafés (spaces designed to promote relaxation and emotional well-being) have become increasingly common in Hue in recent years. This trend reflects young people's growing desire to achieve mental balance amid academic and work-related pressures, as well as a lifestyle closely tied to social media. Beginning as an emotional concept, “healing” has gradually given rise to a distinct service market targeting young customers in Hue.

Seen from above, the market is neatly arranged in straight lines, clean and tidy. Therefore, it can be said that this is the most beautiful “squatting” market in Vietnam.

There are 40 stalls selling typical dishes located in front of the main gate of the market. The shops have signs, menus, pictures, and price listings in Vietnamese and English to help diners conveniently choose the dish.

The first international flight of the year 2024 just landed at Phu Bai International Airport on January 10th, carrying 226 Korean passengers who have come to visit and experience Hue.
