In his latest speech, Mr. Le Ngoc Tuan, Head of Hue City Forest Protection Department informed that the City People’s Committee has just decided to establish the Bac Hai Van Landscape Protection Zone, located in Chan May - Lang Co Commune.

​On the morning of March 29th, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with Hue’s Fisheries Sub-department, organized the release of 160 thousand endemic fish into the Huong River to restore the aquatic resources of this waterway.

Prof., Dr. Nguyen Thi Ai Nhung made an impression with her “typical Hue” image upon giving a presentation on the research topic relevant to the potential and application of endemic medicinal plants in Thua Thien Hue Province in supporting disease treatment for public health care. She was among three female scientists honored by L'ORÉAL - UNESCO in 2023.

From an endemic creature known as an Asian unicorn, the saola (Pseudoryx nghetinhensis) is grabbing more attention from the community. Aside from becoming the mascot in the 31st SEA Games, the image and name saola also become a business brand in many fields.
