On the morning of May 26th, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan led a field survey of the Tam Giang lagoon area, mangrove forests, and coastal infrastructure in the eastern part of the city to assess the potential for developing ecotourism and community-based tourism associated with conserving natural ecosystems and improving local livelihoods.

On September 8th, the People’s Committee of Hoa Chau Ward held a working session with Tay Ho Investment and Finance Joint Stock Company on investment cooperation and the development of Ru Cha Ecotourism Site.

The O Lau Upriver ecotourism site (Ham Heo) is located in Phong My Commune, Phong Dien Town, approximately 45 km northwest of Hue City center.

On the morning of April 26th, the People’s Committee of Phong My Commune, Phong Dien Town, officially launched the O Lau Upriver Ecotourism Site (Ham Heo). This community tourism site was previously recognized by the provincial government under Decision No. 954/QD-UBND dated March 28th, 2021.

Starting from the center of A Luoi town, a group of young friends led by Nguyen Van Hoang chose the Can te 2 ecotourism area as an interesting stop for this summer.

Among many mausoleums of the Nguyen Dynasty, recognized by the UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage in 1993, Emperor Gia Long's mausoleum is a magnificent painting of the coordination between nature and architecture; in which, nature is the main factor creating the grandeur of the architectural structure.

With its own strengths and unique characteristics, Thua Thien Hue has built and developed ecotourism products at streams and waterfalls, being predicted to create a breakthrough in ecotourism.
