To ensure the health and safety of candidates participating in and those involving in the High School Graduation Examination this year, the City’s Department of Health has rolled out a series of measures covering healthcare services, disease prevention and control, and food safety during the exam period.

On the morning of December 18th, in A Luoi 2 Commune, Hue City Center for Disease Control (CDC Hue) held the award ceremony for the Tobacco Harm Prevention (THP) Contest for students from secondary schools in A Luoi area. The program is part of the Tobacco Harm Prevention plan for the 2025 - 2026 period and is funded by the Tobacco Harm Prevention Fund under the Ministry of Health.

On October 2, a team of doctors and medical staff from Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital organized a Community Dentistry program at Hue City Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund. This initiative was part of the 2025 community oral disease prevention plan implemented by the Hue City Department of Health.

At noon on November 28th, a delegation from Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) had a working session with the Department of Health to discuss the implementation of the “Enhancing Efficiency in Disease Prevention and Control through a Smart City Model for 2025-2030” project.
