On the morning of April 19, the University of Economics, Hue University, held “The Job Fair Day 1 - 2026”, serving as a bridge between the university, businesses, and students.

As the costs of raw materials and fuel continue to rise and market requirements become increasingly stringent, digitalization combined with green production is becoming an inevitable direction for many businesses and manufacturing facilities in Hue City. In addition to optimizing costs and improving efficiency, digitalizing production processes also opens up opportunities to elevate quality and increase product value.

By enhancing cooperation with organizations, businesses, and recruiters, member institutions of Hue University are gradually creating opportunities for students to gain early exposure to professional environments, enhance practical skills, and meet the increasingly demanding requirements of both domestic and international labor markets.

Alongside activities that support and accompany businesses and investors in accessing project information and related procedures, Hue City also places emphasis on signing memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and strategic cooperation agreements with major investors to build a foundation for long-term engagement between the government and investors.

Hue City is gradually building a modern administration grounded on digital data and technological platforms. The digitalization of public administration not only boosts the effectiveness of governance and administration but also aims to better address the needs of both residents and businesses.

On the afternoon of March 27th, more than 150 entrepreneurs and businesses in the city participated in “Vietnam’s Economy and Policies in the New Context: Solutions for Businesses” seminar, updating economic trends and exploring adaptive strategies for the new phase.

Following the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Horse 2026, production activities at businesses across Hue have quickly resumed a new cycle. Production floors are once again bustling, and assembly lines are operating continuously to ensure export delivery schedules, laying the groundwork for the city’s 2026 growth targets.

On March 12, the City Tax Department and Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) - Hue Branch signed a cooperation agreement to jointly provide guidance on tax policies aimed at supporting household businesses in their digital transformation.

On the morning of March 9th, the Hue City Employment Service Center officially launched the Employment Month 2026 program with the theme “Spring Job Connection”. It attracted the participation of many businesses both within and outside the city, creating opportunities for direct connections between companies and job seekers during the first months of the year.

On the morning of March 6, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Institution for Strategy and Policy Studies under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, organized a workshop to solicit feedback from central and local departments, agencies, experts, and businesses. The consultation was held to complete the Project on Industrial Development of Hue City for the 2025-2030 period, with a vision toward 2045.
