Nestled on Thien An Hill (Thuy Bang Ward, Thuan Hoa District), Thuy Tien Lake Park was once infamous among backpackers for its abandoned, eerie, and ghostly appearance after years of neglect. For a period, it became an unsafe stop for adventurous travellers seeking unconventional experiences in unfamiliar lands.

For the first time, the “Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2024 & Car Camping Festival” off-road car racing event will take place at Thuy Tien Lake Park, Hue City. The event is organized by Thua Thien Hue Department of Culture and Sports, Southeast Asian Magazine, and Ky Nguyen (Epoch) Group Corporation, and will officially commence from June 20th to 23th.

Thien An Park is expected to be put into operation from March 2023, said Chairman of the City People's Committee Vo Le Nhat, at a recent onsite check of Thien An Park (or more commonly known as Thuy Tien lake area).
