On the afternoon of June 19, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Member of Hue Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) to discuss cooperation on investment promotion and expanding air connectivity, contributing to effectively operate Terminal T2 of Phu Bai International Airport.

On the afternoon of May 21, the leader of Phu Bai International Airport announced that Terminal T2 at Phu Bai International Airport in Hue City was honored with the Gold Award in the category of “Special Architectural Works”. It also received the “For the Development of Architecture” award at the 2024 - 2025 National Architecture Awards ceremony held on the evening of May 20 in Hanoi.

The first flight with number VJ8693, from Taipei International Airport of Taiwan (China), has just landed safely at the T2 Terminal of Phu Bai International Airport at 19:30 on August 18.

On the morning of June 17th, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) held a grand opening ceremony for the T2 Passenger Terminal at Phu Bai International Airport. This is a project to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises.

The Terminal T2 of Phu Bai International Airport has been completed and put into operation, opening up new opportunities for Thua Thien Hue to accelerate and develop.

On the morning of April 28th, an A321 aircraft with flight number VN 1370 from Vietnam Airlines carried 168 passengers from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue. This was the first flight to “inaugurate” Terminal T2 at Phu Bai International Airport.
