On the morning of March 29th, Thanh Thuy Ward held the opening ceremony of its 1st Physical Training and Sports Festival for the 2025–2026 period.

A ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27th, 1946 – March 27th, 2026), organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, was held on the afternoon of March 27 at the City Culture and Cinema Center. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, attended and extended congratulations and encouragement.

A large number of photographic and documentary materials highlighting the special relationship between President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh were exhibited and introduced to the public on the morning of December 12th at Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City (No. 7 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).

Images of President Ho Chi Minh during his revolutionary activities in China were presented at the exhibition “The Revolutionary Path - Comrade Ho Chi Minh in China”, organized by Ho Chi Minh Museum in coordination with Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City. The exhibition opened on the afternoon of November 26th at No. 7 Le Loi Street (Thuan Hoa Ward).

Though without the vibrant flowers adorning the streets and alleys, nor the sweet confections filling every kitchen, the excitement and national pride on Independence Day remain undiminished in the hearts of every Vietnamese citizen. This sacred and eternal spirit continues to shine through the colours of the flag and the clothes worn in the rhythm of today's life.

That was the theme of the exhibition held on the morning of August 30 by the Department of Culture and Sports at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue (No.7 Le Loi St., Hue City).

During his childhood, President Ho Chi Minh and his family lived, worked, studied, and participated in patriotic activities in Thua Thien Hue for nearly 10 years. This was during the period of 1895 - 1901, when He was known as Nguyen Sinh Cung (from 5 to 11 years old), and the second period of 1906 - 1909, when He was known as Nguyen Tat Thanh (from 16 to 19 years old).

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho, along with representatives of a number of departments and agencies, local people, as well as tourists, participated in the procession offering lotus flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the Special National Monument - President Ho Chi Minh’s childhood Memorial House in Duong No Village (Phu Duong Commune, Hue City) on the morning of May 19th.

On the afternoon of May 12th, at 3/2 Park, the Hue Brass Band held a music show to commemorate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024).

From August 31 to September 3, Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue organized the exhibition “Ho Chi Minh – The Portrait of a man” at No.7 Le Loi Street, Hue City.
