HNN.VN - Images of President Ho Chi Minh during his revolutionary activities in China were presented at the exhibition “The Revolutionary Path - Comrade Ho Chi Minh in China”, organized by Ho Chi Minh Museum in coordination with Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City. The exhibition opened on the afternoon of November 26th at No. 7 Le Loi Street (Thuan Hoa Ward).

The event is part of a series of activities marking the 45th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City (1980-2025), with the participation of representatives from departments and sectors, researchers, cultural experts, armed forces, and many young people.

Visitors have the opportunity to access 370 documents, photographs, and artifacts presented through key themes such as: Building the organization from the early days; Sharing the same hatred and resistance against foreign invaders; Mutual support and close relations; Eternal noble friendship.

According to Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Mai, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum, on his journey to find a path to national salvation, President Ho Chi Minh once came to China and was active there for a long period. Across many places in China, traces of his resilience remain, reflecting his tireless struggle for the revolutionary cause, as well as the glorious moments of standing shoulder to shoulder in combat with the people of both Vietnam and China. These were the beginnings of the tradition of solidarity, friendship, and close cooperation between the peoples of the two countries.

After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, President Ho Chi Minh visited China many times. Numerous locations across the vast Chinese land still bear his footsteps. Everywhere he went, he received profound affection from the Chinese people. His warm, brotherly relationship with comrades, friends, and the Chinese people remains alive in the hearts of many even today. Currently, the sites associated with President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary activities in China have been preserved and promoted by the Chinese Government and people, becoming “red addresses” for educating revolutionary traditions and fostering friendly exchanges between the peoples of both countries, especially younger generations. These are not only important commemorative relics of President Ho Chi Minh in China but also invaluable spiritual heritage contributing to strengthening Vietnam-China friendship.

“Through the exhibition, we hope to convey this message: The steadfast, enduring friendship and the shoulder-to-shoulder bond in the revolutionary cause and nation-building efforts between Vietnam and China, painstakingly built and nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh, Chairman Mao Zedong, and earlier generations of leader, is a precious legacy that the two Parties, two States, and the peoples of both countries must ‘inherit well, protect well, and promote well’”, Dr. Mai emphasized.

Earlier the same afternoon, Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City held a ceremony to receive documents and artifacts donated by various organizations and individuals.

Accordingly, 24 artifacts were donated by 16 witnesses and authors. Each artifact carries its own story and expresses deep gratitude to beloved Uncle Ho. Among them are several works of significant artistic and emotional value, such as three wooden sculptures by artisan Tran Van Ngo, the “Nguyen Tat Thanh - Ho Chi Minh” musical piece by musician and Meritorious Teacher Tran Duc, an embroidered portrait of President Ho Chi Minh by Ngo Tri Hung, and a rare photograph of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton donated by Duong Ho Giang. On this occasion, many authors participating in the “Hue and Uncle Ho” ceramic art camp marking the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh also donated their works.

According to Ms. Le Thuy Chi - Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum of Hue City, over the museum’s 45-year journey since its establishment, the institution has collected and preserved every document and artifact to illuminate the life, ideology, ethics, and style of President Ho Chi Minh. Every collected or donated item reflects the faith, respect, and heartfelt tribute of generations toward his legacy.

Every year, the Museum receives dozens of valuable documents and artifacts. This richness and diversity have created the museum’s distinctive identity and vitality today.

“All documents and artifacts donated today, after being studied and having proper scientific records completed, will be carefully preserved in the storage facilities, becoming important sources for exhibitions and displays, contributing to spreading the enduring values of President Ho Chi Minh’s legacy to the public,” Ms. Chi shared at the reception ceremony.
