The 2026 Hue Unicorn Dance Festival officially opened on the morning of September 20 at the Sports Hall at 100 Pham Van Dong St. The event is part of the Autumn Festival activities under the Hue Festival 2026 program and is jointly organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Phu Xuan Ward People’s Committee.

On the morning of September 12, in My Thuong Ward, the city’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, in coordination with the Children of Vietnam (the United States), organized the program ‘Back-to-school support - Scholarship support for disadvantaged students in Thuan Hoa, Phu Xuan, My Thuong, Vy Da wards, and Phan Dang Luu High School in the period of 2026 - 2031’.

Ceramic mosaic inlay has long contributed to the beauty of Hue’s royal architecture. Continuing these values, young artisan Huynh Kim Nhat Minh, born in the 1990s in Phu Xuan ward of Hue City, has devoted great passion to creating new works, bringing the art of ceramic mosaic inlay closer to everyday life.

On the evening of July 23, at Thuong Bac Park in Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program, themed ‘Bun bo Hue (Hue beef noodle soup) Day’, officially opened. The program is led by the Department of Tourism, in coordination with relevant units, as part of Hue Festival 2026 series of events.

On the morning of July 3, hundreds of people wearing the traditional ao-dai took part in the “Ao Dai Connecting Tourism and Heritage” event, held at the forecourt of Quoc Tu Giam historical site of Hue Imperial Citadel (on 23 Thang 8 St., Phu Xuan Ward).

On the afternoon of June 23, the Phu Xuan Ward Women's Union organized a cooking competition themed “Flavours of home - Connecting through love”, attracting more than 130 participants. The event was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2026).

As the late afternoon sun begins to fade, a small tent is pitched on the sandy shore of Loc Binh Beach (Vinh Loc Commune). Nearby, a group of folding chairs surrounds a glowing mini barbecue grill. Accompanied by the gentle rhythm of waves lapping the shore, Ms Tuyet Loan and Mr Chi Nhan from Phu Xuan Ward are enjoying the meal while soaking in the tranquility that mini camping offers.

From electric boat rides along the Ngu Ha River to ideas for night streets, culinary routes, and community cultural spaces, Phu Xuan Ward is gradually unlocking the potential of a “heritage ward”.

“Encoding Time” was the theme of an exhibition that opened to the public on the afternoon of April 25 at the Intercultural Meeting Place - Lan Vien Co Tich space (part of the Huong River Museum of Ancient Ceramics, Bach Dang Street, Phu Xuan Ward).

On the afternoon of April 22, at Tang Tho Pavilion heritage site (No. 344 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Phu Xuan Ward), Hue Monuments Conservation Center officially opened the exhibition titled “The Nguyen Dynasty’s Nine Urns: Documentary Heritage Through Images and Archival Materials - A Digital Experiential Approach to Heritage Education”.
